Rather than MC being connected to the “Ancient Magic” because of his Magic Blood soaking the Holy Sword Artifact when he died, i think that he was already connected to it since the start, and it was his death that caused the Artifact’s to stop working in the past because of his connection (since he is probably connected to them).
We don’t really know how MC came into existence and how he acquired that Magic Blood, its possible that MC was actually connected to the Lost City that the Church found and its also possible that the disease which plagued the past (which the Church used as a reason to target) actually originated from that City, and that is the reason why only MC’s blood was properly able to cure the people infected by that plague (maybe MC’s Magic blood itself is an “Ancient Magic” or “Artifact” which acts as a Wireless charger for the other Artifacts, so with his death the other Artifact stopped working).
As to why MC wasn’t able to use “Ancient Magic” until now, its probably because neither did he ever tried to use one before or tried to learn about them (MC practically has no memory of how he came to be in the first place).
Why mc race is unknown when His mother and father are human ? 🤔
