Chapter 5: Your Junior Sister, Her Path Seems to Have Gone Astray

Elder Liu kept desperately winking at the sect leader: Hurry up and recruit her! If we let her loose, she’ll be a danger to the whole world!

The sect leader swallowed hard, feeling a bit hesitant. If he really accepted a disciple like her, he didn’t even dare imagine what the future would become.

First of all, they’d have to fix her habit of wanting to kill people at the drop of a hat. What kind of righteous sect allows disciples who constantly want to murder people?

In truth, Song Zhen wasn’t someone who killed casually—she only killed bad people.

The reason she had been able to make the Sword Sect the number one sect in the world in the game was because she killed whoever needed killing, never showing mercy or wasting a single unnecessary word.

Her mental endurance was stronger than most. Back in school, many people had called her cold-blooded, saying her perception was off.

But she didn’t think she had a problem — she was just more rational than ordinary people.

“Ahem, ahem… Song Zhen, would you be willing to join my sect, and become my direct disciple?” The sect master’s words snapped Song Zhen back to reality.

“Of course, of course! I’m more than willing! From now on, this disciple will be obedient and filial to Master. Wherever you point, I’ll strike, and I’ll definitely become Master’s best enforcer!”

Sect Leader and Elder Liu exchanged glances.

May I ask, in your mind, what kind of image does the Sword Sect have? And what kind of image do the Sword Sect disciples have?

The Sect Leader explained the situation of their lineage to Song Zhen.

The current lineage, the first and second disciples had entered a secret realm for training and hadn’t returned for years. But since their life lights were fine, it meant they were still alive.

The third disciple didn’t like staying in the sect, and no one knew where he had gone. The fourth disciple, also a female, was currently working in the Mystic Cloud Sword Sect’s Enforcement Hall. That left only the fifth disciple, Ji Fan, by his side.

“So I’m the sixth disciple! Of course! I knew I was born to be ‘number six!’ (Lao Liu)” Song Zhen laughed, her eyes curved like crescent moons.

______

TL Note : ‘number six! (Lao Liu)’ ‘老六’, Old Six

Sixth person in a group. But in modern slang, it means someone who is sneaky, clever, and likes to trick others to get what they want. Often a bit mischievous or cunning, but in a playful way.

The sect master didn’t understand why she was so happy, but happiness was happiness — as long as she could accept it.

“I’ll inform your fifth senior brother, Ji Fan. He’ll be responsible for arranging your subsequent training.”

When Ji Fan was called, he almost dropped his eyes in disbelief.

That little girl actually got in? And became his junior sister?

Seeing Ji Fan, Song Zhen happily exclaimed, “Senior brother, we meet again! From now on, we’re direct senior-junior siblings.”

Ji Fan chuckled, “Great, great. I’ll definitely take good care of my junior sister.”

Fourth Senior Sister Liu Qian, upon learning about the new junior sister, also sent gifts over. Her duties at the Enforcement Hall kept her busy, but that didn’t mean she didn’t care about Song Zhen.

Looking at the treasures, Song Zhen smiled broadly.

But her happiness only lasted until the next day, when she was dragged off to practice swordsmanship.

New disciples, or those with lower cultivation levels, were trained together under the guidance of senior brothers and sisters.

One senior brother performed a very cool sword technique in front of everyone, then said, “This set of sword moves is the basic technique. For now, you all should practice and master this set.”

Upon hearing this, everyone immediately began practicing. Since the others had started training earlier than Song Zhen, they already looked pretty competent as they practiced their swordsmanship.

Song Zhen wasn’t bad either — she had trained with swords in the game and had a good memory.

But… her sword technique looked a bit different from the others.

While everyone else’s moves were graceful and swift, giving off the air of a refined gentleman.

Her swordplay, though exactly the same in form, was aimed straight at the lower body.

“Stab your butt! Pierce your nether! Slice your balls! Hahaha! So satisfying!”

Song Zhen swung her sword with crazy energy—fast, fierce, and precise—leaving everyone completely dumbfounded.

The surrounding disciples were stunned, quietly backing away.

Especially the male disciples, who felt a chill in their lower bodies.

Where did this little junior sister come from? How come her way of doing things is so completely different from everyone else!

The senior brother who demonstrated the form: …Did I just show it like that?

But focusing on the lower body actually seemed effective. Each strike hit a vital spot. Although fierce, this junior sister was talented and had even modified the sword form herself.

Once the murmurs died down, Song Zhen gradually stopped.

Looking at the amazed gazes of her fellow disciples, she felt immensely pleased.

Her juniors and seniors must be impressed by her heroic presence. She decided to maintain a good image in front of them.

With a flick of her hair, she tucked her sword into her waistband, lifted her chin 45 degrees to show her perfect jawline, and in an alluring bubble voice said, “Why has everyone stopped practicing?”

Hearing that voice, everyone felt their faces go pale, as if their throats had been choked.

The senior brother in charge of teaching worriedly asked, “Junior sister, is something blocking your throat? Should we check?”

Song Zhen: ……

This is a bubble voice! What do you mean “something blocking my throat”? Typical clueless men.

Seeing their concerned expressions, Song Zhen took a deep breath and grit her teeth. “I’m fine. Everyone, continue practicing.”

Reluctantly, the disciples resumed, though now they saw Song Zhen’s moves become even more ruthless than earlier, leaving them chilled to the bone.

When Ji Fan came to fetch her, others immediately complained.

“Senior brother Ji, where did they find this junior sister? She’s terrifying!”

“She’s practicing today in a way that’s completely gone astray. She doesn’t look like a righteous sect disciple at all — more like a demonic rogue.”

Ji Fan looked completely baffled. How scary could a new disciple really be? These people clearly had no idea what they were talking about.

Back in the hall, Song Zhen specifically demonstrated what she had learned to the sect master and Ji Fan. Looking at her tricky sword techniques, both master and disciple fell silent.

The sect master clutched his chest, feeling a bit short of breath, but also somewhat relieved.

Good thing she was recruited. If she had gone rogue, the consequences would have been unimaginable.

After showing what she learned today, Song Zhen stared brightly at her master, hoping for praise.

The sect master gave a dry smile. “Not bad, not bad. Very good.”

Ji Fan stared in disbelief. Good? Master, are you possessed?!

Ignoring Ji Fan, the sect master continued praising Song Zhen:

“You have really good talent. You managed to learn everything taught today. From now on, you must use your gift properly to slay demons and uphold righteousness. Do you understand?”

You must slay demons and uphold righteousness — not slay the righteous and protect demons!
