Afterword

Girls with clouded expressions are the cutest, aren’t they?

Hello, this is Koutarou Mifuji.. Thank you very much for reading Volume 3.

This volume saw significant changes in both the heroines’ states of mind and their relationships. Shiori, where on earth are you going…?

By the way, when I created Shiori’s character, I intended to write a serious, pure, refined young lady character, but before I knew it, she turned out like this. Why?

Returning to the main topic… in the web version, the story regarding Seira-san in the early parts was much shorter. In adapting it for the book, I am happy that I was able to properly depict Seira-san and Masato’s emotional states. I hope this allows readers to empathize even more with the characters.

A little bit about the future. Thanks to all the readers, Volume 4 has been greenlit. Thank you very much.

For Volume 4, I believe there will be more newly written content than what was in the web version. I would be happy if you could see the story of these slightly heavy but cute heroines through to the end.

The comicalization (manga adaptation) has also begun! …Although I say that, as I am writing this afterword, it hasn’t actually started yet, so I am in a state of looking forward to the publication myself. How is it? Have you already seen the cute heroines in the manga?

I needless to say love the illustrations by Jimmy-sama, who is in charge of the art for this work, but the heroines drawn by Momoki Ui-sama, who is handling the comicalization, are also supreme. In particular, Aika-san’s design appeared for the first time in the manga, and she was drawn as such a wonderful older sister figure that I was deeply moved. Please definitely read the manga version too!

Continuing from the previous volume, my acknowledgments. To my editor S-shi, who supports this work with all his might. I am always grateful. I have nothing but gratitude for you listening to my selfishness about wanting to write until the very end.

And to Jimmy-sama, who draws such wonderful illustrations. Thank you for the truly best illustrations again this time. Seira-san in the frontispiece is too beautiful… The swimsuit designs for the JD (University Student) group are also the best!

And finally, thanks to everyone who picked up this book! I pray from the bottom of my heart that we can meet again in the next volume! See you then!

Written while researching modern middle school girl fashion in the corner of a coffee shop,

Koutarou Mifuji.
