Terms of Service
Effective July 14, 2026. These terms are short on purpose. They are kept.
1. Your account
One account per person. You are responsible for your password and for what is done with your account. We may close accounts that abuse the platform, its readers, its translators, or its editors — with notice and a stated reason except where abuse makes that impossible.
2. Reading and unlocks
Free chapters are free for everyone. Locked chapters open with Spirit Stones at the price posted on the seal — the price you see is the price you pay. A broken seal stays broken: a chapter you unlock remains readable on your account for as long as the work is hosted here. If a work must ever be removed (for example, for licensing reasons), every Stone you spent on that work within the posted refund window (currently 30 days) is returned to your balance, and you are told. Older unlocks are settled business — and for 30 days after a work leaves, you may still export the chapters you own.
3. Spirit Stones
Spirit Stones are a virtual currency for use on this platform only. They never expire. They are not money, cannot be transferred between accounts, and — except for the removal-refund promise above and any rights your local law gives you — purchases of Stones are final.
4. Lamps, cosmetics, and gifts
Patron lamps (Regalia), cosmetics, and gift stones are bonuses on top of reading. Reading is never gated by them: no chapter requires anything but Stones or patience to open, and no cosmetic grants access that Stones could not. Donations are voluntary support for the team behind a book — its translators and editors alike; any posted thank-you tiers are honored as posted. Permanent purchases stay yours.
5. Translators and content
Translations are published by their translators, who are responsible for their right to publish them. Translators earn the posted share of revenue from their works, divided with their editors as each book’s roster records. If you hold rights to a work published here and believe it infringes them, contact us via the contact page with the work, your claim, and proof of rights; we take such notices seriously and act on them promptly.
6. Your conduct
Comments are shared rooms: no harassment, no spam, no posting other people’s private information, no attempting to break or game the platform. Moderators may remove content and restrict accounts that cross these lines.
7. The platform’s promises and limits
We run the platform with care but provide it “as is” — we cannot promise uninterrupted service, and to the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits rights your local consumer law makes non-waivable.
8. Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on the site before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the platform after that is acceptance. The current version always lives at this address.
